WHAT IS E-DESIGN?

E-Design aka online or virtual interior design, offers the ultimate convenience, affordability, and speed. With Courtney Schrank Design Studio, you can skip the hefty fees of traditional in-person designers and their markup on items. Simply complete a design questionnaire, provide a few measurements and photos of your space, and voila! Your customized design is just a click away.

At CSDS, we value genuine partnership and true collaboration. We'll communicate via email or chat throughout the process, ensuring your vision comes to life seamlessly. No hidden fees or markups here, plus you get an unlimited revisions window (either 3 or 5 days after receiving your design, depending on the package you purchase). Plus, all communication happens online, giving you the flexibility to work on your schedule.

Once your design is complete, you'll have a space filled with curated items from top online retailers, all within your budget and timeline. And the best part? No markups or hidden fees – just a hassle-free shopping experience tailored to your taste.

  • HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SERVICE IS RIGHT FOR ME?
    If you are unsure which service to purchase, feel free to book a complimentary 15-minute Discovery Call with Courtney here to discuss the different services and which would be right for you.

  • AFTER I PURCHASE MY DESIGN PACKAGE, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
    After you purchase either the Digital Room Re-do or the Digital Design Quickie, you will receive an email that outlines the next steps, including completing the Design Questionnaire, signing our Letter of Agreement, and when you can expect to receive your initial design. It also outlines what happens after you receive your initial design.

  • HOW DO I KNOW I WILL BE SATISFIED WITH MY FINAL DESIGN?
    At CSDS, I want you to be happy with your final design - that’s why I do what I do! To ensure this, I offer 3 or 5 day revision-windows (depending on the package) so we can re-select anything that isn’t perfect. If you need help re-selecting outside of that window, there are still options, so don’t worry! I also provide a final design video walking you through the space and outlining what should go where so you shouldn’t have any questions. If you do have questions though, have no fear because I offer a 2 weeks of post-design support included with your package purchase. Again, if you need help outside of the 2 weeks, there are still options. I also guarantee the product links for 7 days, so if something goes out of stock within 7 days I will re-select free of charge. If you happen to wait longer and something goes out of stock, we still have options, so email me if that happens.

  • AM I ABLE TO KEEP SOME OF MY EXISTING FURNITURE IN THE ROOM?
    Yes of course! That being said, I will need good images of the piece(s) or a link to the items online if it still available. This will ensure I can properly represent your existing pieces on your design board. You will be prompted to list any existing furniture you want to keep on the Design Questionnaire, but you can always email me at courtney@courtneyschrank.com if you think of it after you finish the questionnaire.

  • DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
    Because of our generous revision windows, 7-day link guarantee, and 2 weeks of post-design support, we don’t offer refunds. We will work together until you are happy with your design!

  • DO YOU OFFER PHONE CALLS OR VIDEO CALLS ONCE THE PROJECT STARTS?
    There is a complimentary 15-minute Discovery Call that is through Zoom if you aren’t sure what package is right for you. After you book a service though, there are no calls included. The Design Questionnaire helps to communicate the information I need to properly design your space. If I have any questions after reading your questionnaire, we can set up a call or email to discuss further. Keep in mind, I do send a video walkthrough when I send your design which should answer any questions you might have. If you would like to have a video or phone call during the design process, I can send you pricing for that.

  • DO YOU OFFER EPAINT SELECTION? HOW DOES THAT WORK VIRTUALLY?
    While I do recommend paint colors if needed, I strongly advise testing colors and obtaining paint samples before making your final selection because colors can appear differently in every space and on different computers. I can let you know how to get larger paper paint samples for the walls, but it’s also recommended to purchase small containers of the paint and pain a portion of the wall to get a better idea of what the color looks like in your home. It's crucial to test paint colors at various times of day and in different areas of the space being painted.

  • WHAT IF I AM NOT HAPPY WITH AN ITEM ONCE I RECEIVE IT IN PERSON?
    As I’m sure you know, when purchasing items online, there is always risk involved. Colors especially, can look different online and on different monitors than they do in person. Images shown online may also misrepresent size and sometimes even dimensions could be off. That said, you can be rest assured that all items selected for your design are sourced from reputable online retailers that facilitate easy returns. If an item doesn't suit your space upon arrival, don't worry! We're here to guide you through the process of finding a suitable replacement. While we strive to minimize returns, we understand that they may be necessary. If you're dissatisfied with any items upon receipt, let me know and we will discuss your options.

POWER HOUR CALL:

  • WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE OUR CALL?
    I get it, life happens! When you booked your call you received a confirmation email. At the bottom of that email is a button that says 'reschedule'. Simply click on that to reschedule up to 2 times. You may reschedule up to the start of our call.

  • HOW DO I JOIN THE CALL?
    After you book your call you will receive a confirmation email. Included in this email is a video link so you can join the call. You can also add it to your Google calendar and set reminders.

  • WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL/GET A REFUND?
    Cancellations are accepted for a full refund within 24 of the scheduled call but after that, the call must either be rescheduled or no refund will be provided. You are able to reschedule up to 2 times.

  • WHAT DO I GET AFTER OUR CALL?
    You will get access to the recording of our call. Other than that, there are no deliverables aka no work to be done by CSDS outside of the call. If after the call you decide you want or need more design help, you can book one of our other services here.
